The second your date is secured, we dive into the fun stuff. We will collaborate on a shared visual mood board to map out the overall energy, color palette, and vibe of your day. This helps us ensure we are completely aligned on the creative direction before we even step foot outside.

Location Scouting
With the vibe established, I handle the heavy lifting of finding your perfect backdrop. Whether you are dreaming of an easily accessible mountain overlook or a quiet trail away from the crowds, I will scout out the absolute best locations and lighting setups that match your vision.

The Day Of
Zero pressure, total freedom. When the day arrives, we’ll take our time, explore the paths, and watch the sun dip below the peaks. I’ll give you simple, interactive prompts that spark genuine laughter and quiet, candid moments, making you completely forget there is a camera around.

The Delivery
No endless waiting required. Shortly after our time together, a beautifully edited mini-preview gallery will land right in your inbox to hold you over. From there, I’ll carefully polish the rest of your story, delivering a seamless digital collection of high-resolution memories ready to be printed and hung on your walls.

Do you travel for sessions and elopements?
Absolutely! While I am based out of Calgary, I love hitting the road for an adventure. Travel within the Calgary area is included, and I have a simple flat fee for mountain sessions in Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise. For elopements further out, let's chat—I'm always ready to pack a bag.
Do we need permits to shoot in the National Parks?
Yes, Parks Canada requires specific commercial permits and licensing to shoot legally inside Banff and the surrounding parks. Don't worry about the paperwork, though—I handle all of that on my end so we are completely covered.
What should we wear to our session?
Comfort and movement are everything! Once you book, I’ll send over a personalized styling guide and we will build a collaborative Pinterest mood board together. To keep that timeless, cinematic feel, I always recommend solid colors and neutral tones, we’ll want to avoid heavy patterns or clothing with big brand names and logos.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A little wind, mood, or overcast sky actually makes for the most incredible, cinematic photos! However, if the weather becomes genuinely unsafe or a total downpour, we will absolutely reschedule to the nearest available date at no extra cost.

Can we have the unedited or RAW files?Item
No, I do not deliver RAW or unedited files. Culling and editing are a massive part of my creative process and brand identity. Every image you receive in your gallery will be completely finished and handcrafted to look its best.
How do we lock in our date?
To officially secure your spot on my calendar, I require a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer fee. Once those two things are taken care of, your date is officially locked in and the planning begins!
